The Inn Between of Longmont, Inc. is a nonprofit affordable, low-income housing provider with 6 buildings locations within Longmont.  We offer 1, 2, and 3 bedroom sizes with an household occupancy range from 1 to 7 people.  The Inn also provides case management support, food pantries, and on-site "life-skills" training.

Transitional Housing

Four of our building locations serve as time-limited or transitional for a period up to 3 years. Individuals and families must have verifiable incomes that fall within these ranges (see Table 1).  Section 8 voucher holders are welcome to apply for transitional housing. â€‹

Permanent Housing

The 2024 Permanent Housing monthly rental amounts are as follows:

​Two building locations are considered permanent housing for those whose incomes are considered 40% Area Median Income for Boulder County.  Individuals and families must have verifiable incomes that fall within these ranges (see Table 2).  Section 8 vouchers are also welcome to apply for permanent housing.

Applicant Eligibility Requirements for Transitional Housing and Permanent Housing

​Screening of potential applicants includes a full review of all documents and a personal interview.  All pre-approved applicants are placed on a temporary waitlist until an apartment becomes available.  At that time and prior to lease signing, criminal background checks and any updated income verifications will be done.

To be eligible for housing at The Inn Between of Longmont, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.

  • Be able to live independently without supervision (home health care support is OK).

  • Complete an Inn Between Application (help is available)

  • Verifiable income for all adults in household (paystubs, W2, tax returns) and/or evidence of fixed income (SSI, OAP, SSDI, Survivor’s Benefits, etc.)

  • Photo ID for all adults in household

  • Comply with Criminal Background Investigation (CBI) prior to lease signing.  All applicants over the age of 18 within the household require a CBI/Credit Check.  No admission for sex offenses or methamphetamine sales/manufacturing.

  • *No minimum credit score is required.  Opportunity to improve credit scores is greatly encouraged!

  • For all transitional housing applicants, program participation will be required. 

  • For permanent housing applicants, program participation is encouraged but not required.
